Tekoa Mountain Kennels Mission is to provide healthy, sound, genetically strong, companion friendly and instinct intense bird dogs to the world!.  Each of Tekoa’s puppies SHIPS with a health guarantee. Every puppy has been examined by a licensed Veterinarian with respect to detecting any hereditary or congenital problems prior to shipping.  All puppies purchased from Tekoa are healthy and Tekoa will guarantee the genetics and structure of the pup to be sound.  It is the new owner’s responsibility, if they desire, to have their new puppy examined by alicensed Veterinarian of their choice, and at their expense, within one week from the date the puppy was  acquired.  If any hereditary or congenital problems are found, the puppy may be returned for a full refund of the puppy’s purchase price, OR a replacement from a future litter may be requested for a pup of equal value, provided the pup or dog is reported to Tekoa within one week of this examination, or two weeks after shipping.

Should a replacement pup be requested without return, the registration papers must be returned from the original pup purchased BEFORE the replacement pup may be acquired.  It is the owner’s responsibility to pay all Veterinarian and shipping costs applied outside the purchase of their puppy, (including transport to return ).

Additionally, Tekoa Mountain Kennels will guarantee the pup to be free of hereditary or congenital hip conditions until the animal reaches twenty six (26) months of age. It is the Client’s responsibility to provide a certificate from a licensed Veterinarian stating the dog’s current health condition if defective. Upon receipt, Tekoa will begin the process of replacing the dog with a new pup of equal value when purchased from a litter of Tekoa’s choosing.  Again, the client will choose their pup as they did in the beginning.
